I have a 2003, Dodge Ram 2500, I need a muffler because my old one rusted out. I didn't want to spend a hundred buck or more on another muffler that would just rust out when I found this and I can tell you this muffler sounds great in fact I believe that it sounds pretty much as good as some of the high dollar mufflers. This was a very good buy for me and I hope this helps out anyone else who reads this.

So to start, I got the muffler about a week later after I placed my order (which for ordering car parts is not bad) but anyways i got the muffler installed today on my 99 miata with stock pipes and cat and lemme just say it sounds great! There's no real "rice" tone to it and it does have a deep tone which I love. Only thing that gets annoying some times is you get a buzz once in awhile. As for the silencer, I ride with out it and has a perfect tone and not crazy loud but loud enough to let people know your coming. Overall great product.

This muffler is perfect! Not too short or long. The sound is great! It's not extremely loud but loud enough for people to hear. It was easy to install as well. The price is way too cheap. • My muffler rusted out and fell off; I needed a cheap replacement, and I've always loved a good glasspack. Pay attention when you buy; there are 3 different part numbers for this particular glasspack. The one ending in 252 (this one) is 2.5" in/out. This thing is also really long, comes right out to a hair under 24". However, it's a very solidly made glasspack; it's heavy, and I'm pretty sure the packing will last a couple years.
  The only gripe I had about it was that the red paint peeled right off after about a day. I wasn't too surprised, I was able to scrape it off with my fingernail beforehand.
  Be warned, this thing would work better as a resonator than a muffler; my v6 3.0L sounds like a fartcan with this thing. I wouldn't call it ricey, but it's damn loud. BRAP BRAP BRRAAAPP

I have a 2008 Chevy Silverado 5.3 4x4. It is not a "true" dual exaust since there is only one cat and one muffler. but, I think it sounds great and for the price can't be beat. I heard a buddy's truck a few months ago and as soon as I heard it I knew I had to have the same muffler/exhaust setup. He recommended this muffler. Once it was installed, I have not regretted it at all. It has a great, deep sound when accelerating and when starting but is pretty quiet when at an idle. I was worried that it would be too loud, but that is not a worry...in fact, it could be a bit louder and that would be OK with me, but as stated, I was erroring on the side of caution to not have it too loud. Overall I love this muffler and would recommend it to a friend.
